The Jerusalem Post reported that the Southern Command of the Israel Defense Forces is preparing for the possibility of resuming operations in Gaza, while “Stability International Force” has received equipment to play a role in the disarmament of Hamas. According to Israeli sources, in the past 24 hours dozens of vehicles, including armored vehicles, entered Gaza and were handed over to American forces stationed at the headquarters of this force in Kiryat Gat. The move is described as part of preparations to hand over security responsibility in parts of Gaza to the Stability International Force. Israeli security officials say Hamas has not yet been disarmed and is administering parts of Gaza.
