Anthropic, the artificial intelligence startup behind the Claude chatbot, has closed a $13 billion Series F funding round, according to Reuters. The deal was led by Amazon and Google and values the company at about $150 billion, people familiar with the matter said.

The raise underscores how quickly investor appetite for AI companies remains elevated, even as the sector faces rising scrutiny over costs, competition and the pressure to turn major technical advances into durable revenue.
