Editorial policy
These are the rules every Pouyam guide follows, from the first draft to each later update.
Sources
We prefer primary sources: official documentation, laws and regulators, standards, peer-reviewed research and data published by the organisation concerned. Reputable news reporting is used for events and context.
Every source is listed at the end of the guide with its publisher and date, and numbered markers in the text such as [1] link to it. We paraphrase rather than copy, and quote only briefly.
Fact-checking
Numbers, dates, names and technical claims are checked against the cited source before publication. Claims that cannot be verified are removed or clearly marked as uncertain.
Topics that affect money, security or health get an extra review, and we avoid advice that only a qualified professional should give.
Corrections
If you find an error, write to hello@pouyam.com with the page address. We review every report. A confirmed factual error is corrected promptly, and the article’s “Last updated” date changes with the correction.
Updates
Guides on fast-moving subjects are reviewed regularly. Each article shows when it was first published and when its content last changed. The date only moves when the content really changes, not when a page is simply re-checked.
Translations
Each language edition is reviewed on its own. Numbers, sources and their markers stay identical across languages, so every edition can be checked against the same list.
