🔶 Iran–Qatar sea trade resumes after five months After about five months of stoppage, sea trade between Iran and Qatar resumed with the reopening of Qatar’s "Al Ruwais" port to Iranian goods. Abbas Abdolkhani, Iran’s trade adviser in Doha, said the resumption of maritime transportation between Deir port in Bushehr province and Al Ruwais port, after coordination between the Iranian embassy in Qatar and Qatari officials, has been carried out. According to him: «Al Ruwais port is considered one of the most important gateways for the entry of Iranian goods into Qatar’s market, and the resumption of activity on this sea route will play an important role in facilitating trade, reducing shipping costs, increasing the speed of supply of goods, and improving the volume of commercial exchanges between the two countries.»
