Rust

Programmation système rapide et sûre en mémoire.

Rust gives you the speed of C and C++ without a garbage collector, and a compiler that stops whole families of memory bugs before your program ever runs. Parts of Firefox, Android, Windows and the Linux kernel are written in it, and developer surveys have named it the most admired language for years.

This intro course starts with Cargo and your first program, then teaches the ideas that make Rust different: ownership, borrowing, structs and enums, Option and Result, and the collections and iterators you use every day. The last module moves on to traits and generics, lifetimes, modules and tests, and threads. It uses the 2024 edition, every program in it was compiled and run, and every compiler error you see is the compiler's real message.
