Gharibabadi wrote in a message on the X social network that the Strait of Hormuz is not a military display arena for extraregional powers. He emphasized that the security of Hormuz is the responsibility of coastal states and added that troublemakers should take responsibility for the consequences of their adventures. He warned that this is a serious warning. The reaction came after the UK Prime Minister’s Office on Friday published a joint statement by Keir Starmer, the prime minister of the country, and Emmanuel Macron, the president of France.
