🔶 Kim’s supervision of weapons tests by a North Korean destroyer Kim Jong-un, the North Korean leader, once again oversaw several weapons tests. The North Korean state news agency (KCNA) reported that Kim, on Friday of last week, July 3 (12 Tir), oversaw the firing of cruise missiles as well as the use of “electronic warfare systems” on the destroyer “Kang Kon.” According to the state news agency, Kim also pledged to prove North Korea’s determination to achieve “absolute power.” The agency has released images showing Kim wearing a summer cap as he, among government officials, follows the tests from an observation post on the coast. Two weeks earlier, another destroyer weighing 5,000 tons named “Choe Hyeon” entered service with the North Korean Navy.
