🎥 The echoes of “No to execution” in the French National Assembly; a coalition of diverse voices against the death penalty in Iran The French National Assembly hosted the “No to Execution” meeting with the participation of Yaël Braun-Pivet, President of the National Assembly of France, François Hollande, former president of the country, Bruno Fuchs, Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee, Sylvie Breguet, Director-General of Amnesty International France, and parliamentarians and human rights institutions. In this meeting, Ismail Abdi, Sepideh Farsi, Soran Mansournia, Fariba Berhan-Zahi, Nahid Bahmani, Eskandar Lotfi, families of the aggrieved, former political prisoners, and other human rights and civil rights activists emphasized the necessity of international support for the fight against the death penalty in Iran and the need to place human rights on the agenda of negotiations and interactions with the Islamic Republic.
