The Israeli army said that the forces of the 91st Division will continue weapons reconnaissance operations in the security area of southern Lebanon. According to the Israeli army, over the past few days, the fighters of the 401st Brigade identified an underground pit and a weapons depot containing rockets, mortars, and military equipment in the Al-Tayri area in southern Lebanon. The Israeli army also said that, in another operation in the Maroun al-Ras area, the forces of the reserve brigade “Yiftach” (769) discovered additional explosives, weapons, and combat equipment. The Israeli army says these weapons were intended for use by Hezbollah forces against Israeli civilians, and stressed that it will continue operations to address any threat against its forces.
