Mohammad Baqer Zolqadr, secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, in response to remarks by Donald Trump, the president of the United States, urged him in a sharp tone to speak about Iran with respect and warned that otherwise Iran’s response would be different. Zolqadr, on Monday, 15 Tir 1405, in a message, called the U.S. president “delusional” and wrote: “Before this you, as the head of a country without roots with a 250-year history, had spoken with similar language about erasing the civilization of several thousand years of Iran, and the result for you was nothing but defeat and helplessness, along with requests for talks and a ceasefire! Iranians speak with the language of threats to foreigners.” Zolqadr added: “So speak to the Iranian people with respect, otherwise we will answer you in another language.”
