The funeral ceremony for Ali Khamenei, the second leader of the Islamic Republic, has officially begun at Tehran’s Prayer Mosque. His coffin and four members of his family were placed at this location for those in attendance to pay their respects and for government supporters to visit. However, none of Ali Khamenei’s sons—including Mojtaba Khamenei, his successor, and his three other sons—were seen at the ceremony.
