Decentraland reported a 12% increase in active monthly users in June, according to its latest dashboard. The metaverse platform said usage rose to 58,400 users over the month, signaling a modest pickup in activity.
The data also showed stronger trading in virtual land. Parcels changed hands at an average price of $1,840 in June, the highest monthly level Decentraland has recorded since March, based on the figures shared in the platform’s dashboard.
The numbers suggest renewed interest in Decentraland’s virtual world as broader attention on metaverse platforms remains uneven. While the latest figures point to growth, they still reflect a niche market with activity far below mainstream social and gaming platforms.
Decentraland’s June update adds to a mixed but notable picture for digital land markets: more users, higher transaction values, and continued evidence that some buyers remain willing to pay premium prices for virtual property.
