🔸The U.S. State Department said on Thursday, 26 Shahrivar, that the United States will allow a limited Iranian delegation with members in limited numbers to participate next week in a session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

🔸The ministry’s spokesperson told Radio Farda: “Within the framework of the United States’ commitments as the host country, the main delegation of the Iranian government will be allowed to participate at the high level of the United Nations General Assembly.”

🔸The spokesperson also added that the delegation will be subject to “travel restrictions,” and explained that, under U.S. policy, its members will be prohibited from “buying luxury goods and some other goods.”

🔸The spokesperson also reported that the number of members in the Iranian delegation will be smaller than last year.

🔸Meanwhile, Agence France-Presse, citing an informed source, reported that Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of Iran, will travel to New York as part of this delegation.

🔸This comes as the war between the United States and Iran has entered its seventh month, and Donald Trump, the President of the United States, said earlier that he is reaching a point to decide on resuming broad attacks on Iran again.
