🔹Ted O’Brien, Australia’s shadow foreign minister, described the discussion as positive and constructive after a virtual meeting with Prince Reza Pahlavi, and expressed his welcome for hearing Prince Reza Pahlavi’s views on a democratic future for Iran.

Pointing to the killing of around 40,000 people by the Islamic Republic in Dey, he emphasized that attention to the Strait of Hormuz and the conflicts in the Middle East should not push human rights in Iran to the sidelines.

Ted O’Brien called Prince Reza Pahlavi a clear and powerful voice in opposition to the terrorist organization of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. He also stressed that the people of Iran should be able to decide for themselves about the future of their country.
